You can cancel your membership via the GYM LOCATION app on the Membership tab.  


As per the terms and conditions, we do require one months notice. 

As long as you cancel before the last working day, your final payment will be collected for the following month. If you miss this deadline, even by one day, your membership will continue for another month. 


FOR EXAMPLE – If you cancel any day in September,  October will be your final month and final payment will be 1st October.


You cannot cancel within your minimum membership term or if your account is in arrears. 


If you have already cancelled via the app, you would have selected your cancellation month. 

You would have also been sent an email confirming the final month. 


As per the cancellation policy, we require one months notice. 


FOR EXAMPLE – If you cancel any day in September,  October will be your final month and final payment will be 1st October.


When joining, you agreed to a 12 month minimum membership.
We do consider early terminations but only if a member has relocating more than 10km.
 

In order to consider an early cancellation request, we must be satisfied that the member has moved from their address and now lives permanently at an address located more than 10km from the gym.
As per the terms and conditions, the final decision lies with the club. 

An early cancellation will not be granted unless we are 100% satisfied that the above is true.
 

The only proof we accept is -
1. Confirmation of end of tenancy/home sale
2. Confirmation of the new tenancy/home purchase


It is your responsibility to present a case that might satisfy our requirements. 

We must stress that this will not guarantee an early cancellation but we will consider the information provided.

All of our payments are collected on the 1st of each month and cannot be changed. 


As an independent business, we rely heavily on cash flow to ensure our staff and bills are paid. Because of this, we require our membership payments to be made on time.


As per our terms and conditions, your monthly membership payment is due on the 1st of each month. If your payment fails on the 1st, we will contact you via email and text message, explaining that payment will need to be made before midnight to avoid a late fee. 


If payment is not made before midnight on the 1st, there will be an automatic late fee of £20 added to your account. This payment must be made and cannot be removed for any reason. 


The last thing we want is for any member to be paying more than necessary but must have this late fee in place as protection for staff and the business.  


When joining the gym, you agreed to a monthly membership payment which must be made. We cannot go agains the terms and conditions, 


If you are having difficulty making payment this month, we will accept an agreed future payment date which must be no later than the 28th of the current month.

Please note, all late payments will be subject to a late payment fee.



When joining the gym, you agreed to a monthly membership payment which must be made. 

You will be able to agree a future payment date but if you refuse to pay or fail to agree a payment date, we will take county court action. 


This is absolutely the last thing we want and try our very best to avoid it. 


Yes, you can freeze your membership for a maximum of 1 month.

We do require a minimum of 1 month’s notice prior to the freeze start date, 

EXAMPLE - if we receive a freeze request any day in September, November will be the earliest you can freeze. A £5 admin fee applies per for a freeze request.


Your membership cannot be cancelled while frozen – any cancellation requests can only be submitted once the membership is active again.
